Daisy and the bee.

It literally has been a case of chasing the daisy this week. I've been as busy as a bee having photo-shoots. It's been buzzing with fun to say the least.

I got the train to Cheltenham to meet the Elite team A.KA. Team Elite (credit to photographer Chris Beasley for #TeamElite)...

You can take a girl out of Essex^

I always make sure my nails are pretty before a photo shoot.

It was so pretty on location, I couldn't help but to sit and keep looking at the beautiful sky.
I met a fellow pink haired gal; Laika and another gorgeous lady (also with coloured hair); Jasmine. Of course this caused for a collaboration...
(Thank you Malice Clothing for our custom made sets)
And for a serious game of Cards Against Humanity.

In the morning, I woke myself up with a cup of rosy lee.

I'm selling some of these polaroid's if you wish to purchase one please email me dannika_jeffery@hotmail.co.uk

And then shot with TripodSki again

Followed by Chris Beasley, the man with the serious beard.
I can't wait to see the finished images. For now, this bee needs some beauty sleep.

And a break from wearing make up, and some food, and some green tea oh and one more thing...
Cuddles with this one. (I think he missed me a little, I definitely missed him)

Chasing daisies and rainbows...

I just thought I would dive in the deep end and start by explaining my hair! It's one of the biggest parts of well, me. It's got to the point if I ever go back to my natural colour; I don't think anybody would know it's me. (I know shock, it's not natural)

I have dyed my hair nearly every colour of the rainbow.

 Red and yellow and
Pink and blue...

 I can see a rainbow...
See a rainbow too.

My hair before the hair dye:

I just want to take a moment to talk about what's within as this post is very much about the exterior so far. It's important to accept yourself on the inside as well as out. My exterior is a reflection of my interior. I like to think my personality is just as colourful... quirky and bright! However I'm not suggesting that if somebody is wearing dark clothes that they're feeling dark... because that is not the case. I'm simply saying pay attention to what's inside as well as out.
After all, there's no daisy without a rainbow.

Here's some questions I get thrown at me quite often, answered:

I do tend to wait a good few months before an intensive bleaching, otherwise I think my hair would fall out. So the secret is to simply let your hair get strong again before another make over.
Yes- I wear clip in extensions normally only on the weekend. I love pom poms and messy buns during the week, oh yes and plaits! I dye them myself from blonde to pink to make sure it matches my hair. My tip is to only use 100% human hair so you can style it just like your own.

I dye my hair mixing it with conditioner once a week, leaving it on my hair for about 10-15 minutes whilst in the shower. It's as easy as that. Just wear gloves when you apply and also when you wash out the dye... there's nothing worse then going out with bright pink hands.

Please don't hesitate to ask me anything else I haven't mentioned about my hair.

The Daisy Chain

You have to collect (chase) daisies to make a daisy chain. This blog is my daisy chain; in the sense each post represents a daisy.

This blog is a collection of memories, all written and recorded in photos and words. Just like at school... You would never keep a daisy chain for yourself would you? No, you'd show and/or even give your beautiful creation to another. This; is my Daisy chain created to show you.
My aim is to update you where I go, what I do and how I do it.

Firstly I'll introduce myself. I'm Dannika Daisy. I'm 23, from Essex. I don't conform to the stereotypically Essex girl as you may know it. However the necessity to see the world beyond Essex is high on my to do list. I love my friends and family very much... And I love my dogs more than anything in the world.

I'm going to keep my intro short and sweet as you'll learn everything you need to know by following this blog.

I hope you see my blog grow and blossom into something somewhat beautiful; I may even go as far to say as beautiful as a daisy chain.
