Lucky Daisy

Take a wish upon a lucky star tonight... maybe that you wish to have a talent; perhaps to sing?

https://www.luckyvoice.com/
A talent of singing isn't something I possess... however I gave it my all when heading over to Lucky Voice in Soho, London.

After ensuring my pom poms were the best of their ability I met up with my beautiful Nixalina to see where her job has ventured her.

Lucky voice is NOT what I thought it was going to be, a karaoke bar? This was NOT just any karaoke bar... I'll tell you that now! It was an exclusive experience that I feel EVERYBODY needs to experience. Whether you can sing or not, it does not matter. It's all about having fun and letting go!

 Should have gone to Specsavers?

There's fancy dress props get yourself in the mood.

And perfect cocktails.

Cocktails+fancy dress props ^

You can create a playlist before you arrive to save precious singing time.

Smiles all round indeed!

Easy to say we had a fantastic night at Lucky Voice... we were lucky ;) Not sure about the voice though!

The Willow Tree of wisdom

My favourite film of all time is Pocahontas. It has so many messages hidden within the film and lessons to learn. Which is why I love the fact my baby niece is called Willow. She's beautiful and I got to spend some time with her recently. What a proud aunty I am...

Grandmother Willow in the film; gives advice to Pocahontas about her love life mainly. She explains that only she, can feel what is in her heart and know how to follow her instincts. I believe greatly in listening to your heart. At the moment my focus is on other things rather then finding love again... this is what my heart is telling me right now. Sometimes you need to focus on who you are to let another understand you and you them. However if the wind decides to blow the right man my way, I will try my best to listen ;)

Yesterday the wind blew me to a photo shoot. (Well actually I drove myself there but let's just imagine it was the wind)

Tommy was the photographer... with an amazing tan and good taste in music for the studio. He was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to spotting him getting his groove on at V Festival this weekend. If I go that is, I most likely will but I keep telling myself to stay in and be sensible.

Watermelon again :)

His work is great and the picture below is one of my favourites' instantly. Maybe it's the green, reminding me of Grandmother Willow...

I hope whatever you decide to do for the rest of the week; whether it be sensible or naughty... that you feel in your instincts is right and more importantly you listen to your heart.

Hippy vibes

Make up: on
Hair: Did
Photo: Shoot
Proceeds: Charity

When I was asked to model to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Society
charity; I jumped at the chance. To do something I love for a great cause! And I'm so glad I did as I had so much fun and the 24hour photo shoots raised £1000. How amazing.

I decided to go with wavy hair.
Made from simply plaiting my hair for a few hours. How easy is that!?
To match my hippy hair I wore some flares for one set of photos...

And then underwear:

All in all a great photo shoot... especially meeting all the photographers and models! I love people after all!

A rain of inspiration

Watermelon... watermelon... watermelon...
So here's some the images from my shoot with Kaspa Rotti. I got to have fun whilst working... isn't that amazing!?

From one kitchen worktop to another ^. My second Suicide Girls set goes up in 6 months time. That feels ages away! A lot can happen in a day, yet alone half a year. Until then please make sure you're following me on the site:

A lot did happen on this day. Firstly I shot with Lia B photography, what a delight she is. I'll post some images as soon as I get some back but here's some behind the scenes:
I decided to rock the old double denim today... why not!?

And wore the pink straight for once.

Oh yes- I have a couple of new tattoos too.

Pink pink pink.

I also got soaking wet today walking around London, but what is life without feeling true evidence of life. Sometimes you have to feel the rain to notice the sunshine. All of this got me inspired...
I found some images I wanted to re create to my own interpretation of course.

I hope maybe you're a little inspired now :)
whether it be by a watermelon, the rain or even a daisy.
